Christmas and New Year Holidays

The office will be closed on the following dates
24th Dec to 2 Jan 2011 inclusive.
You may still make an order during these dates and the orders will be placed with our suppliers. Delivery may take longer. Sale items will be despached as soon as possible.

  • DANSport: 1-3 weeks
  • Werner Kern: 1-3 weeks

  • Supadance: 1 week
  • Dance Club by Supadance: 1 week
  • RoTate: 1 week

The above times are approximate, please be aware that due to circumstances beyond our control the delivery times may be longer.

The appearance of colours and textures on this website may be affected by your computer or display and should be accepted as a guide only.


Shipping and Handling

Orders within the UK will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class.

Orders outside the UK will be sent via Airmail.

Minimum order £20 (not including postage). Accessories under this amount should be purchased with shoes or in sufficient numbers to reach the minimum purchase price. Accessories ordered in large quantities may have shipping charged according to weight.


UK - 1st class £4.95

Europe - Airmail £7.00

Rest of the World (Including Greece and Turkey) - Airmail £11.00

If you order more than one pair of shoes you may not get all your order at the same time due to suppliers timescales and delivery times, therefore each pair of shoes will have the full postage fee applied. If more than one pair are sent to you in one package then one delivery charge will be credited to your card.

The shopping cart will display and add the correct shipping to your order when the destination is selected.


Professional Discount.


Dance professionals who are members of a recognised teaching or professional association are entitled to 10% discount off shoes from the following manufactures -

This discount does not include postage.

Once accepted you will be issued with a promotional code to input when you order your shoes.


Duty.

In some countries products may be subject to Import Duty. The payment of this duty is the responsibility of the purchaser/addressee.


Privacy Policy.

The Dance Shack will not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.


Cancellation Policy.

The customer has the right to cancel their order before their goods have been dispatched from us.

If the goods have not been dispatched you will receive a full refund including postage. If the goods have been dispatched please follow the Returns Policy.


Returns Policy.

We will accept all returned goods on the following conditions:

  1. Goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt and must be returned direct to, The Dance Shack, 34 North King Street, North Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE30 2HS
  2. Goods must be returned unused, undamaged and unsoiled in their original undamaged shoe box. (Please be aware that if the shoe box is damaged we reserve the right to bill the customer for a replacement).
  3. Reason for returning shoes must be clearly stated.
  4. Shipping/handling charges are non-refundable. 

All our shoes come with suede soles. To avoid soling shoes when trying them on for the first time use a clean soft surface such as carpet or paper (Not newspaper or dance floor).


Remittance Terms.

All prices are shown in GBP (Pounds Sterling)
Payment in full must be sent with all orders.


If you are shopping from outside the UK, your credit card will be charged in GBP and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
